Absolutely amazing experience, our first time and Adam was so nice and clear with his instructions. He was so helpful! Very memorable and surfing is now going to be a new hobby of ours! Thanks so much for the fab experience 🏄
I would say 'Blue Coast Surf & Paddle' is the perfect way to be introduced to paddle-boarding. The booking process was simplicity itself, and Adam even allowed me to stipulate the location of my lesson. Which was Portknockie Harbour, as I live in the village. On meeting up at the Harbour, Adam started by explaining the various aspects of paddle-boarding, which was very informative. Once in the water, Adam was constantly explaining and giving advice to each of his 'pupils' in a friendly and clear way. He was constantly attentive and on hand, so at no time did we feel unsafe or left alone. Although at the end of the two hours I felt quite tired, I thoroughly enjoyed this fascinating experience and have learnt an immense amount about this fun and exciting pastime. I feel that Adam and Blue Coast was the perfect choice, as I begin my blissful paddle-board journey over gently lapping waters, the seagulls wheeling overhead, my eyes on the horizon meandering towardsa setting sun..........
We booked the beginner's paddleboarding 2hr course. From the offset communication was excellent even before the lesson. It was an extremely informative lesson, showing/teaching skills required when paddleboarding. The kit issued to us for the activity was great (High-end equipment). Adam was patient, informed, professional and also made it fun too. I would highly recommend this course for a beginner.
Excellent tour round Bow Fiddle Rock and the coastline with Adam. Would definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed Adam's paddle boarding tour around Portknockie and Cullen Bay. Adam is very smiley and friendly which made the whole thing great fun! Very professional and safety conscious too. Would highly recommend an outing with him if you're visiting the area.

This was my first ever attempt and I had been very excited but nervous in advance. Adam was really reassuring and patient, and gave us a really fun lesson. He catered to my lesser ability whilst also providing an interesting lesson for my much more able partner. Adam had all range of equipment and clothing, and was kind enough to check sizes in advance for me as I’m a larger lady!! I would highly recommend booking in with Adam.

Had my paddleboard introduction today with Adam , absolutely brilliant instructor , very patient and professional, had me standing up in no time .I did spend some time in the water too but that’s part and parcel of learning . Had a great time and I’m 55yr old male.Already bought my board and I’m looking forward to getting wet again , Get out there and let BlueCoast teach you etc
Adam was brilliant, my 15year old was on his feet 'surfing like a pro'..after 2 lessons. First rate teaching from a first rate guy. !
Loved every minute of my experience, Adam is a fantastic coach, managed to learn a lot whilst having fun with the session. Encouraging and tailored his instructions that by the end of the session I was standing up on my surfboard... totally awesome experience. Had a great 3 day surf school up in Cullen! Adam is a very approachable, helpful and enthusiastic instructor and was super flexible with regards to best days for waves etc. Couldn't recommend more and Cullen is a super nice spot.
Brilliant! Adam was fantastic - knowledgeable and professional. The introductory lesson was very comprehensive, great fun and has made me want to continue on my paddle boarding journey. I learnt new skills, gained valuable knowledge, became more safety conscious, and more importantly I can now get back on my board when I fall off! Thank you Adam and Emmie-Jo for a fantastic two hours.
