Highly recommend Blue Coast, my boys have been attending Nippers club and are loving it. Adam has taught them about sea safety and surfing. He is great with them and they love going.
Brilliant morning learning to paddle board with Adam. Adam was very encouraging, friendly and certainly knew his stuff. Would definitely recommend him as an instructor. Can't wait to put everything he taught us into practice.
I had a SUP introduction lesson with Adam today and I couldn’t rate him highly enough! As well as learning a great deal of skills/safety/technique he made it thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Brilliant, give it a go!😁
Excellent introduction to paddle boarding. Adam was a superb teacher - clear and concise instruction, always encouraging and prioritising safety. The class was lighthearted with lots of laughs and great fun. I would highly recommend Blue Coast Surf & Paddle.
Learning to surf with Adam was so much fun! He was absolutely fantastic with my little boy who was a little nervous. He made the safety stuff fun and made the whole experience really enjoyable

I booked my first ever surfing lesson last week with Blue Coast and wow what a great experience! From the professionalism of the website to the service provided by Adam I was really impressed with the whole thing. I learned so much in just two hours I feel I could hire a board and go out solo with confidence in the water which is amazing! Adam puts you at ease, clearly knows his stuff and we had a laugh too. I was sceptical as none of us have surfed before , thought the kids will give up or get cold or just moan …. But they all absolutely loved it and want to do it again. They all managed to get up on the board too! Really impressed with Adam remembering everyone’s name , the excellent instructions and the wonderful attitude. We’ll certainly be back for more lessons. Great SUP lesson with Adam - fantastic location at Portknockie harbour too. Adam made the whole experience fun and relaxing, giving us a lot of confidence on the boards, with some really useful safety tips. Would definitely recommend and we intend to return for a coastal tour and maybe some Sea Kayaking too.
My 9 year old daughter has been attending the Nippers surfing class. She loves every minute of every lesson. Adam is super with all the kids. Learning new skills at the same time as having a lot of fun. It makes me smile seeing how happy my girl is in the water during her lesson and afterwards.
I was delighted to finally get out with Adam after the weather being unpredictable, which stopped our first few attempts.
Not going to lie I was terrified, even though I had my own SUP Board and was self taught, which is never the best. I’d never been out on such open waters before and was so scared to fall off!
Adam asked of any fears / questions before we started, where he put me at complete ease by explaining everything, and even giving me a go at getting off my board to try to get back on in Portknockie harbour. To my surprise I was actually able to do it! What a confidence boost! And I knew straight away that whatever happened I would be in safe hands. I felt focused and in control of my SUP with in-depth easy to understand instructions from Adam. I felt so spoilt too as other people booked on that day cancelled, so I basically had a one to one lesson & costal tour. Result! And to my delight we went through Bow Fiddle Rock. Such a unique place and thing to do, I was so happy of the opportunity and to be guided by such a professional and very passionate instructor! Keep up the great work Adam I will be back!
