Myself and three others had our first ever paddle boarding session with Adam a few weekends ago. We were instantly welcomed and felt comfortable with the lesson ahead.
Adam was very knowledgeable, supportive and non judgmental throughout the two hours. We all felt we learnt a great amount during our time and also thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We experienced a range of activities throughout the morning, from life saving skills, fun races and general paddle boarding skills.
I would highly recommend Blue Coast, Surf and Paddle and can’t wait to book in again! 🤩

My daughter has been surfing for the past couple of months with Blue Coast now, and it's amazing to see how much her surfing skills and confidence have grown in such a short time. Adam is great with the kids, and has endless patience with them. Would recommend Blue Coast without hesitation. Booking online is easy, and commmunication is great.
As a fifty something female on my own i was made to feel comfortable and welcome. This was my first seesion with Blue Coast. Adam is a wonderful instructor. I have done some paddle boarding previously, but honestly learnt so much under his guidance. Safety briefing and basic stuff is well explained on dry land before you enter the water. It was a fun session suitable for all. I will definitely be going again. Highly Recommended.

Myself and my children had a fantastic first time paddleboarding with Adam. Adam is a fantastic instructor, great with children and adults has great patience and always offers reassurance. He explained everything so well. We hope to back soon. Would definitely recommend Adam to anyone planning paddleboarding. Also, Portknockie Harbour was the ideal location.

Adam gave my 8yr old son a surf lesson and a paddleboarding lesson and both were absolutely brilliant! Great value for money as the lessons were a generous 2 hrs long. Adam was very friendly, has a great rapport with kids, is knowledgeable and a fantastic teacher! The communication was good beforehand. Also the equipment was excellent/ very new. We cannot wait to return next time we're in the area!
Booked my two sons into a surf lesson with Adam today and they loved it. The kit was spot on and they managed 2 hours in the North Sea and were not cold at all. Adam showed extreme patience with both boys and they loved the experience. Cullen bay was just perfect too. Really glad we booked this, it was well worthwhile.
A first surf session for my 10 year old nephew. He loved it. The two hours flew by. Adam was super helpful and great with the kids. His wetsuits fitted great, super warm and all pretty new kit. Thoroughly recommend.
Brilliant teaching and very patient with the our young children. Brill experience and kids and adults enjoyed. All equipment was in fantastic condition would highly recommend this to everyone. Would definitely use again.
Really enjoyed my paddle boarding lesson with Adam. He’s a great teacher, friendly and knowledgeable.
I’m a complete beginner, Adam guided me through everything I needed to know as we went along. So you build up your confidence and skill level bit by bit. I was up and running pretty quickly and went from being a wobbly newby to feeling comfortable on the board, plus how to get myself back on the board and rescue others in an emergency.
The equipment is great and the wet suit kept me warm even in October.

I had been thinking of having a go at paddle boarding for a long time and finally I took the bull by the horns and messaged Adam @ Blue Coast.
I had some doubts of my abilities - I’m 64 and wondered if I’d left it too late - but Adam couldn’t have been more encouraging.
I arrived in Cullen on a beautiful Sunday morning in October to find Adam all ready for me. All the equipment is provided so you don’t need to have any expensive outlays before you try the activities.I thought it was going to be a group session but others had cancelled so I was the only pupil that day - an extra bonus. 😊
Any misgivings I may have had were soon dispelled by Adam’s calm and engaging manner, and before I knew it I was standing up and paddling away.There were a range of paddle boarding techniques which Adam took me through with patience…(a lot of patience) and good humour. Falling in is a given, so I quickly became an expert in ‘getting back on the board’…nailed it!
For those that might worry about being cold, I never once felt it - the wetsuit, neoprene shoes and gloves keep you really warm, and when the sun was shining it was almost too warm! ☀️
I cannot rate Blue Coast Surf & Paddle highly enough - it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and after 2 hours I was exhausted, but really happy with what I’d achieved.My only regret is that I didn’t get involved earlier in the year, but I’ll definitely be back next year for some more lessons, and maybe some canoeing too.
